Sundays 10:30 am
Our 10:30 am Sunday service is a contemporary update of our traditional service. If you are familiar with Anglican, Lutheran, or Roman Catholic worship, you will recognize the pattern of the service. The structure is the same but the music is contemporary. Now when some churches say they have contemporary music they mean music that was written in the 1960s. We like some of that music as well, but lets get real for a moment...those are golden oldies. When we say contemporary, we mean this year or even the past five years. We do occasionally sing old hymns and even golden oldies, but when we do its usually with a remix to bring it up to date.
There are actually two times of the year when we sing traditional music: Christmas and Easter. Somehow a remix of "Silent Night " or "Jesus Christ is Risen Today" just wouldn't seem right. We love kids, and lots of them love the 10:30 am service. Sunday School begins at 10am and Coffee hour is available for parents. Children are encouraged to attend the service with their parents. It is common to see toddlers exploring the church. We encourage parents to allow this. We want children to have positive early memories of church.
We feel really blessed by our worship team. We have great music. Our Praise Band is really good. Check it out.
