Outreach
Outreach is an important way we live out our mission in the world. We believe we are called to reach out with loving arms in order to bring comfort to the afflicted and hope to the hopeless. St. James Outreach Ministry Team is committed to the transformation of lives through the tangible expression of our faith. Each month we focus on a different need. We focus on local and international needs.
For January 2010, The Outreach team collected warm socks for the homeless in our area. For February 2010, The Outreach team collected funds for the Anglican Relief and Development Fund. For March 2010, The Outreach team partnered with the Salvation Army to provide 50 "Hygiene Kits for the Homeless" For April 2010, The Outreach team partnered with Santa Maria Urban Ministry to provide 87 boxes "Mac & Cheese" For May/June 2010, The Outreach team partnered with Emergency Housing Consortium to provide much needed packaged foods. For July/August 2010, The Outreach team partnered with Santa Maria Urban Ministry to provide much needed school supplies. For September 2010, The Outreach team is requesting Warm Coats and blankets for InnVision.
