The St. James 4:30 pm Christmas-Eve Service is service for the whole family. We sing traditional Christmas Carols while the kids build a tableau of the nativity scene. Any kid can costume up and participate in the tableau, We have lots of costumes in the back for sheep angles and shepherds.  Between Carols  St. James youth retell the Christmas story and we always try to emphasize some dramatic aspect of the story that has been being re-told at Christmastime for 2,000 years.

After singing four Christmas Carols, and all the children are in place, everyone who brought a camera is invited to take photos.  Our Pastor then gives a short children's sermon.  The service then continues with an offertory hymn and the celebration of Holy Communion.
